The 2015 ROCOC Christmas Concert

The 2015 Rowan One Church One Child Christmas Concert will be at Life Church on Sunday at 6 p.m. A love offering will be received to be used to purchase beds for the Rowan One Church One Child Ministry.

The concert is sponsored by Life Church Salisbury, 708 Jake Alexander Blvd. West, featuring the band “Raising Glory” with southern gospel and Christmas music

There will also be information about Rowan County’s children and teens awaiting an adoptive family and information on how to become a foster or adoptive family.

Rowan One Church One Child is a partnership between Rowan County Department of Social Services and Rowan County churches whose purpose is to ensure healthy, safe and protective outcomes for Rowan County children and teenagers who are victimized and traumatized by sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, neglect, or dependency who are currently receiving child protective, in-home case management, foster care or adoption services from the RCDSS Children Services Division. ROCOC’s goal is to keep birth families intact or assist relative caregivers and foster parents who provide care to children.

A prospective foster parent interest meeting will be held Tuesday, Jan. 12, from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Rowan County Department of Social Serives.

For more information on the program or the meeting, contact Jon Hunter, Placement Support Coordinator, at 704-216-7914 or Jon.Hunter@rowancountync.gov or visit www.rowancountync.gov/rococ
