SALISBURY — Salisbury City Council has canceled its regularly scheduled meeting for 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, and rescheduled the meeting to Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the same time.
Mayor Paul Woodson suggested the change because three of the five council members — Karen Alexander, Maggie Blackwell and Brian Miller — are up for re-election Nov. 3, and Woodson thought they might want to be working the polls that day.
Council approved moving the date at the end of its meeting Tuesday. The next council meeting will be at 4 p.m. Nov. 4 at City Hall, 217 S. Main St.
