Saint Peter’s Lutheran Church and the Community Care Clinic of Rowan County are excited to start a new partnership!

Saint Peter’s Lutheran Church will serve as a screening site for the Community Care Clinic. The first of these screenings will be on Wednesday, Oct. 14 from 4:30 until 7 p.m.

The Community Care Clinic works to provide primary medical and dental care as well as prescription medications to qualified under served and uninsured adults in Rowan County.

It is a privately funded organization that offers free medical and dental care to adults who would not have access to such care otherwise. The offices for the Community Care Clinic are at 315-G Mocksville Ave. in Salisbury.

The new partnership with Saint Peter’s Lutheran Church will make getting this health and dental care easier for people living in the eastern part of Rowan County.

Saint Peter’s Lutheran Church will serve as a satellite location. A free soup dinner will also be provided at the church by the Lutheran Men in Mission.

Additional dates for the meals and screenings will be Nov. 11, Dec. 9, Jan. 13, Feb. 10, and March 9.
