Rowan weather: More clouds, rain tonight

If the prediction holds up, we might see some rain today and even tomorrow, with the highest chance this afternoon and tonight.

It will be hot again, though, around 90 today, with increasing clouds. The chance of rain is 30 percent, mainly after 3 p.m.

Tonight, the chance of rain goes up to 60 percent, with showers and thunderstorms throughout the evening. The low will be 67.

Saturday has a 40 percent chance of showers and storms, with fog possible before 9 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy with a much cooler high of 80 and a northeast wind at 6-9 mph. The chance of rain and storms goes down to 30 percent. The low will be 66.

Sunday, too, has a 30 percent chance of showers and storms, but it will be partly sunny with a high of 81. A northeast wind will blow around 7 mph. The same chance of showers and storms lingers into Sunday night, with a low of 66.

Labor Day should be rain free, with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 84. The low will be 65.

It warms up to 85 for Tuesday under partly sunny skies, and the low will be around 67.

Wednesday’s high will be 87 with mostly sunny skies; the low will be 66.

For Thursday, mostly sunny and 86.
