In police reports:

• A woman reported on Wednesday she was assaulted in the 300 block of Long Meadow Drive.

• A woman reported on Wednesday she was the victim of an assault and property damage in the 1900 block of West Jake Alexander Boulevard.

• A woman reported on Wednesday someone kicked in her front door in the 400 block of Harrel Street.

• Police responded on Wednesday to an incident involving marijuana possession in the 1100 block of Airport and Gaskey roads.

• A man reported on Thursday someone stole items from his outbuilding and vehicle in the 1500 block of West Horah Street.

• Clayton Garrett Byers, 34, was charged on Wednesday with misdemeanor assault on a female while at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.

• Jonathan Jakoda Hall, 16, was charged on Wednesday with simple assault in the 1000 block of West Jake Alexander Boulevard.

In sheriff’s reports:

• A woman reported on Wednesday damage to her vehicle in the 300 block of Silk and Tassel Road, Cleveland.

• Deputies responded on Wednesday to a license checkpoint where a person was charged with marijuana possession in the 1300 block of Cannon Farm Road, China Grove.

• A woman reported on Wednesday a possible break-in occurred in the 1400 block of Garrick Road.

• Naciya Malecke Laney, 21, was charged on Wednesday with felony obtaining property by false pretenses while at the Rowan County Courthouse.

• Ronald Lee Bailey, 62, was charged on Wednesday with misdemeanor marijuana possession in the 1000 block of Cannon Farm Road and Gulledge Street, China Grove.
