Contractors with NCDOT will temporarily close the railroad grade crossing in the 100 block of East Mill Street in Landis between South Main Street and South Central Avenue, beginning Monday, Aug. 31 at 9 a.m. as part of the railroad improvement project.  The closing is expected to remain for 21 days.

The alternate route will use South Main Street to East Ryder Avenue to South Central Avenue.
