The dictionary states this about “ideologies”: a closely organized system of beliefs, values, and ideas forming the basis of a social, economic, or political philosophy or program.

The realities of behavior defining Republican from Democratic ideologies is fading and blurring in Washington today. In other words, it is becoming harder and harder to see any difference. The parties are becoming more and more alike; not so much in talk but in action.

For example, Democrats believe in large, centralized government, and traditional Republicans hold the opposite belief, preferring smaller less intrusive government. Many observers of the professional politicians today see these lines are blurring. Power and money go hand in hand in Washington. The Republican professional politicians believe things will change when they control the money; however, has anything changed since they gaine control of the Senate and House? But you just wait, they say — when we have control of the presidency and Congress, things will change.

We’ll see. Hopefully things will change, but many of us doubt it.

The Democrats say they are concerned and want to protect middle-class families, but their actions say differently. They are destroying the middle class. They are accomplishing this with the rise of the underclass. This class consists of the poor, uneducated, unmotivated and every illegal immigrant they bring across our so- called borders. But it doesn’t stop there. Even when we discover the illegals living among us, do we, can we, deport them? No, we do not! So, ask yourself why?

Let me explain it to you this way. What do you need to be able to vote in our country? A driver’s license; if you believe as I do that voting should be a privilege accorded citizens only, then how can you tell a citizen from an illegal? Today, you can’t, but when the time comes to vote, for whom do you think the illegals will vote?

My point is just this: It seems the professional politicians see the demographics changing in the country and the underclass vote will decide who is accorded the power and money. The underclass has grown fond of government assistance, and they don’t want to give up their free stuff. Having a job, working hard, depending upon yourself were once admirable qualities and you did not take handouts because this was a destroyer of self respect, but no more.

If Republicans continue to believe and act as the Democrats do and we see how destructive these ideologies are, what choice do we have? The Democrats are not going to change, and if professional Republicans continue to “go along to get along,” who will save the country from this certain destruction from within? This is why Trump is carrying the day. The people are not as stupid and uninformed as the professional politicians believe. Obama won elections based on a concept of perhaps only one word, CHANGE. He told us on national television, change is coming to Washington today with his election and, boy, has it!

I don’t know about you, but, I’m ready to end the Obama short-change for the country and hope we see soon someone who will instill pride and accomplishment. Someone not afraid to tell it like it is. Maybe Trump is too blunt for your taste, but if not him, then who will it be to instill pride to be an American and those ethics that make us proud?

Yes, I’m ready for change, the same ol’, same ol’ is just not good enough. We need someone with a wrecking ball change in mind. Tear it down; rebuild it new with those values that once made us great.
