The brief rain that some parts of the county enjoyed last night cooled down a very hot day. But today, we’re back in the 90s, under mostly sunny skies.

The high will be 92, with a slight breeze in the afternoon. Tonight, there’s a 20 percent chance of showers, then a possibility of fog. The low will be 69.

Thursday has a 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after noon. It will be mostly cloudy and not as hot, with a high of 86. Any storm could bring frequent lightning and heavy downpours. Thursday night has a 40 percent chance of showers and storms, too, with a low of 67.

The sun returns Friday, with a high near 88 and a low around 69.

Mostly sunny again on Saturday, with a high of 89 and a low of 68.

Sunday, too, will be mostly sunny and it will be 90 degrees; the low will be 69.

Then on Monday, we climb a bit higher into the 90s, 92, for a high, and a low again of 69.

Tuesday looks to be much the same, with a high of 92 and mostly sunny skies.
