Rowan weather: Like the 90s? Plenty more to come

Some areas reached 100 degrees yesterday, and it’s going to be hot again today, with sunny skies and a high of 94. The afternoon will be the hottest part of the day.

Tonight will be clear and 70.

A few small chances of rain are popping up for the next few days.

Saturday has a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mostly after 2 p.m. It will be mostly sunny and 92.

The 30 percent chance of rain sticks around Saturday night, but not much past 7 p.m. The low will be around 69.

For Sunday, we have a 20 percent chance of showers after 3 p.m., but mostly sunny skies and a high of 90. Sunday night, too, has a 20 percent chance of showers, and a low of 70.

For the new work week, Monday has a 30 percent chance of showers in the morning and thunderstorms in the afternoon. It will be partly sunny and 93.

Monday night has a 30 percent chance of showers, too, and thunderstorms, The low will be around 71.

We have a bit more chance for rain on Tuesday, 40 percent, but it will still be partly sunny and 93. The rain chance lasts into Tuesday night, when the low will be 71.

And Wednesday has a 40 percent chance of showers and storms, more partly sunny skies and a high of 93. the chance of rain continues Wednesday night, with a low of 69.

Thursday, at least at this point, has a 40 percent chance of rain and storms, too, with a high of 92.
