Rowan-Cabarrus board of trustees to meet Monday

Rowan Cabarrus Community College’s board of trustees will meet Monday to recognize and introduce new Vice President of Academic Programs Dr. Michael Quillen. The college will also recognize the 2014-15 Student Government Association President Anthony Rossi, and the 2015-16 Student Government Association President-Elect, Teryesha Robles.

The board will also reappoint Board Chair Carl M. Short, Jr. and board member Dr. Dari Caldwell.

The board will meet Monday at 4 p.m., at the North Carolina Research Campus in the boardroom, 399 Biotechnology Lane in Kannapolis.

Prior to the Board meeting at 3:15 p.m., there will be a tour of the new cosmetology facility at 120 West Avenue in Kannapolis. Parking for the tour of the new cosmetology facility can be accessed at the corner of West A Street and Oak Avenue. The tour will begin at the rear of the building.
