On Friday, members of Salisbury Pride, an LGBT organization, lathered graffiti walls on the corner of South Main and Horah streets with stripes of multicolored paint in preparation for Saturday’s Salisbury Pride Festival.

Red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple combined to make a rainbow on each side of the two graffiti walls. After using paint rollers, members of Salisbury Pride spray painted the name of their organization and “equality 4 all” on the walls.

The fifth annual festival will start at 11 a.m. today in downtown Salisbury. A “doggie drag show” will be at 10:30 a.m., before the festival formally begins. Music, food and craft vendors will be a part of the festival.
