Rowan weather: Keep the AC running

It’s going to be hot and dry for the rest of this week and into next week.
There’s a 30 percent chance of showers and storms this morning, then it will become partly sunny, with a high near 88. The chance of rain drops to 20 percent tonight, with a low of 65.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny and hot again. with a high of 88 and a low of 68.
Thursday will be mostly sunny and hotter, with a high of 91. Winds will pick up a bit from the south southwest around 6 mph. Thursday night’s low will be 70.
Friday brings mostly sunny skies and a high of 92; the low will be 70.
And Saturday is an exact copy of Friday, 92 for the high, 70 for the low.
Sunday, a 30 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms comes back into the picture, but it will still be hot under partly sunny skies, with a high of 92 again. The chance of rain continues Sunday night with a low of 69.
And for Monday, same old thing: 30 percent chance of showers and storms and a high of 91 under partly sunny skies.
Make sure your outdoor pets have shade and plenty of water and check on your neighbors to be sure they have a way to relieve the heat.
