Police are looking for a man who robbed a Pizza Hut deliveryman Thursday at gunpoint on North Arlington Street. The gunman took the man’s cash, cellphone, pizza and his car.

The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. at 22 North Arlington St., the address given for a delivery.

Salisbury Police say a black male wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a camouflage bandana came from the wooded area nearby and pointed a gun at the deliveryman and told him to get on the ground. The gunman grabbed the victim’s wallet and asked if he had a cellphone.

The victim said his cellphone was in the car. The gunman grabbed the phone and took off in the deliveryman’s car, which is described as a 2012 tan Kia Soul.

• A woman reported on Wednesday she was assaulted at her home in the 8200 block of U.S. 52, Rockwell.

• A woman reported on Wednesday her house was broken into in the 100 block of Thunder Road, China Grove.

• Shelly Knight Moore, 30, was charged on Wednesday with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance schedule IV in the 5000 Faith Road.

• Nathaniel Wayne Pride Lemons, 22, was charged with felony assault by strangulation in the 3800 block of Miller Road.
