SALISBURY — Families First-N.C. Inc. will hold its Flip-Flops & Flamingos Summer Kickoff starting at 5 p.m. today at the Black Box Theatre, 405 N. Lee St.

The band MidLife Crisis will provide the music. The event, for people 21 and older, includes a silent auction, food and drinks.

Tickets are available for $10 at the door. A cash bar is provided by Morgan Ridge Winery.
