Well, we didn’t get the severe storms and heavy rain predicted yesterday, but we have many days to repeat the drill.

Today we’ll have an 80 percent chance of showers, and a high of just 58. Rain is likely tonight, too, with a 60 percent chance. There’s also a chance of fog, with a low of 48.

For Thursday, it’s more reruns. A 60 percent chance of rain, cloudy and just 55 for a high. Thursday night, a 50 percent chance of rain with a low of 52.

None of these showers are expected to produce a great deal of rain.

Friday we get a little break with a 20 percent chance of rain and mostly cloudy skies. It will warm up to 71 degrees. Friday night still has the 20 percent chance of rain, with a low of 58.

The chance of rain goes up to 40 percent Saturday, and the temperature goes up, too, to 76. Saturday night’s chance of rain is also 40 percent with a low of 56.

Keep your best umbrella handy for Sunday, when the chance of rain goes up to 60 percent, with a high near 70 and cloudy skies. Thunderstorms could move in Sunday night, with a 70 percent chance of rain and a low of 58.

For Monday, nothing much changes — we’ll have a 50 percent chance of showers and storms, cloudy skies and a high of 73. Monday night, a 40 percent chance of rain and storms and a low of 53.

But then there’s Tuesday, which looks like it might be mostly sunny and 72. Can we last that long?
