Rowan weather: Storms move in tonight

Fog is descending this morning, with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms for later in the day.
It will be mostly cloudy today, with a warm high of 75. Winds will blow from the south southwest at 7-13 mph with gusts as high as 21 mph. Tonight, the chance of rain goes up to 80 percent, with storms likely, then showers after 2 a.m. The low will be 45. Some of the thunderstorms could be quite strong, with gusty winds and frequent cloud-to-ground lightning.
Friday’s chance of rain is 60 percent, with cloudy skies and a high of only 52. Friday night’s low will be 32, with north northwest winds.
It will be sunny Saturday, with a chilly high near 48, and a cold low of 25 degrees. Time to protect tender plants.
Sunday’s high will be 54, with some sun. The low will be 39, still quite chilly.
Monday looks sunny, with a high of 66, so it’s back to spring. The low Monday will be 43.
Tuesday will be even warmer, with more sun and a high near 70. The low will be 45.
Wednesday, more of the same, sunny with a high near 68.
