Rowan weather: Another nice day

Yesterday was a pleasant surprise, with more sunshine and warmer temperatures than expected.

Today will be sunny and warm, too, with a high near 65. The low tonight will be 47 degrees.

We still have a 30 percent chance of showers Wednesday afternoon, with a chance of fog in the early morning hours. It will be mostly cloudy with a high near 64. It might get a bit rough Wednesday night, with a 60 percent of showers and then thunderstorms between 1 and 3 a.m., then more showers. Thunderstorms are possible into Thursday. The low will be only 54 degrees.

Thursday has another 60 percent chance of showers, with thunderstorms likely. The high will be a very warm 76 degrees. The chance of showers and storms goes to 50 percent Thursday night, with a low of 47.

Friday, it’s back to a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly is the morning, with partly sunny skies and a high near 60. Slight chance of rain Friday night, with a low right at the freezing point, 32 degrees.

Mostly sunny skies for Saturday, but noticeably cooler, with a high near 49 and a very cold low of 28. Protect whatever plants you’ve put outside or planted in the warm days.

Sunday will be a bit warmer, with a high of 54 and sunny skies. The low will also be warmer, around 40.

Monday looks sunny, with a spring-like high of 65.
