15-year-old missing girl found safe

UPDATE: Rowan authorities charged a Concord man with helping missing teen Lillie Samantha Tucker run away from home. Officials said Phillip Michael Goodman, 29, picked the teen up not far from her Salisbury home and took her back to his apartment in Concord.

Goodman, of the 300 block of Crown Point Circle, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Additional charges are anticipated. Officials said the two met online.

UPDATE: Lillie Samantha Tucker has been located this morning.  She was sighted by a person who knew her walking on Hwy 29, in Concord.  Concord Police were notified and detained the runaway.  Rowan County Sheriff’s Investigator Cary Gordy is on the way to interview the runaway, but she is safe at this time.

UPDATE:Lillie has mentioned to friends previously that she may attempt to runaway to somewhere in Tennessee, but the exact location is not known.

The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the report of a runaway, Lillie Samantha Tucker.  She is a 15-year-old white female, who lives at 110 Mae Road, Salisbury. She is 5-foot-3 and weighs 130 pounds.  Her mother reports that she last saw Lillie at 8 p.m. Friday after having a discussion with Lillie.  She was determined to be missing at 8 a.m. on Saturday. Lillie did leave a note to the family saying she was sorry for having to leave.

Anyone having information as to the location of Lillie Samantha Tucker is asked to call 911.
