Dr. Lingelbach receives Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Maranda Shinn Lingelbach of Clemmons received her Doctor of Physical Therapy Dec. 13, 2014, from East Tennessee State University. She also received the DPT Student Research Award.
A 2007 grad­uate of East Rowan High School, in 2011 she graduated from Appala­chian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and minors in Chemistry, Biology and Psychology.
The daughter of Dee­Ray and Robbin Shinn of Rockwell, she is the granddaughter of Clyde and the late Peggy Lipe of Salisbury and Betty and the late Coy Ray Shinn of Rockwell.
She and husband Matthew are making their home in Clemmons. Matthew received his Master’s in Computer Science at Appalachian State University in 2011 and is a software engineer in Winston-Salem.
