Chief Superior Court Judge Anna Mills Wagoner of Salisbury is part of a three-judge panel that convened Friday to review the case of Joseph Sledge, convicted and sentenced to life in prison for the 1976 murder of a mother and daughter. The N.C. Innocence Inquiry Commission found sufficient evidence for there to be a judicial review of the case.
