Blotter: Police looking for man who tried to get refund

Police are looking for a man who committed fraud.

Ultimate Sports Apparel, located in the 100 block of South Main Street, reported that an unknown man committed fraud by asking for refunds for gifts that weren’t purchased at the store.

The man told them his wife purchased the gifts during the Christmas season. 

In sheriff’s reports:

  • A woman reported a larceny from the 3300 of Deal Road in Mooresville Tuesday.
  • A man reported a burglary in the 400 block of Lakeshore Drive.
  • Pierre Josue Fernandez, 21, was charged with felony marijuana possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute at Interstate 85 and Daughtery Road Bridge in China Grove on Tuesday.
  • Pedro Alexander Garcia, 22, was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana at Interstate 85 and Daughtery Road Bridge in China Grove on Tuesday.
  • Christopher Andrew Shoe, 32, was charged with being a habitual impaired driver, a felony, in the 200 block of North Main Street.
  • Keisha Nicole Lambert, 25, was charged with misdemeanor simple possession of cocaine in the 5500 block of Sherrill’s Ford Road.
  • Matthew William Naves, 30, was charged with resist, delay or obstruct of a public officer at the 100 block of Copper Leaf Lane.
  • Joshua Cole Weaver, 22, was charged for sending threats by text message in the 4400 block of Stokes Ferry Road.

  • A man reported that his vehicle was broken into in the 1500 block of West Innes Street Tuesday.
  • Police responded to a report of shots fired into an occupied vehicle in the 500 block of Lincolnton Road.
  • A woman reported vandalism in the 100 block of Martin Luther King Junior Avenue.
  • Police responded to a non-aggravated physical assault Wednesday in the 200 block of Neita Drive.
  • Storm drains were stolen from the 40 block of Ashbrook Road.
  • A woman reported a larceny in the 600 block of W. Liberty Street Wednesday.
  • A woman reported a larceny in the 500 block of North Fulton Street.
  • A home was broken into and property was taken from it in the 300 block of West 13th Street Wednesday.
  • A man reported fraud in the 2500 block of Wedgewood Drive Thursday.
  • A woman reported that a scratch was found on the right front fender of her vehicle in the 2100 block of Executive Drive.
  • The Rowan-Salisbury School System reported fraud on Wednesday at 120 North Craige Street.
  • A woman reported that her boyfriend stole her computer in the 1500 block of South Main Street.
  • Amanda Michella Allen, 32, was charged with marijuana possession in the 1600 block of West Innes Street Monday.
  • Desaray Djarnet Crawford, 22, was charged with vandalism to real property, willful and wanton injury in the 700 block of Park Avenue Tuesday.
  • Rache Jamal Fortson, 24, was charged with resist, delay or obstruct of a public officer in the 100 block of South Long Street and East Fisher street on Tuesday.
  • David Eugene Miller, 28, was charged with assault inflicting serious injury and communicating threats in the 200 block of Ridge Road. His bond was set at $7,500.
  • Christopher David Hall, 31, was arrested on charges of resist, delay or obstructing a public officer at Statesville Boulevard and Welch Road.
  • Drew Thomas Charleston, 26, was charged with probation violation and two counts of resist, delay and obstruct of a public officer. His bond is set at $150,500.
