Dick Brisbin Achieves Life Master
Happy New Year to all.
On New Year’s Day at the Charleston Regional tournament, Dick Brisbin earned his needed Gold points to become a Life Master. Congratulations!! There were several of us attending the tournament and all had fun. Now it’s time to resume our Salisbury games on Tuesday’s at 1 p.m. at the Women’s Club and on Fridays at 1 p.m. at Rufty-Holmes Senior Center.
As expected by most, we will be raising our entry fee to $5 at each game. We are still the cheapest accredited game in the area. This year I intend to have at least one Championship or Charity game a month to allow higher point awards.
The only game to report was the Tuesday, Jan. 6 Women’s Club game. Winners were: 1st Marie Pugh and Loyd Hill, 2nd Gloria Bryant and Wayne Pegram, 3rd Maggie Canup and John McLaughlin.
