Rowan County Literacy Council to hold tutor training workshop

The Rowan County Literacy Council will hold a two-session tutor training workshop in the Hurley Room of the Rowan Public Library.

The sessions will be held Thursday. Jan. 22, and Thursday Jan. 29, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. The registration fee for these sessions is $25.

In order to be certified as a tutor, participants must attend both sessions.

Reservations for the workshop may be made by calling the literacy office at 704-216-8266 or by emailing rclc@rowancountync.gov by Thursday, Jan. 15.
