The year may have changed, but there’s not much change in the weather. We’re still in that wet and cold pattern, with the occasional warmer day to tease us.

Today, there is a 40 percent chance of rain, mainly after 3 p.m. It will be cloudy with a high of 52. Tonight, rain is likely, with a 70 percent chance, and fog will move in in the wee hours. The low will be 42.

Saturday, another 70 percent chance of rain, with clouds and a high near 46. Saturday night, the likelihood of rain goes up to 80 percent, with a low around 44.

You might be surprised by a thunderstorm Sunday, with another 80 percent chance of precipitation. It will warm up to 65 degrees, and winds will blow from the south at 11-15 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Not a nice day at all. Sunday night, we hold on to a 30 percent chance of showers and a low around 36.

None of the rain will amount to much — maybe an inch or so over the next three days.

So again, we clear up on Monday, with mostly sunny skies and a high near 48. The low will drop below freezing Monday night, to 28 degrees.

It will be a little cooler Tuesday, with sun again and a high near 47. the low will be 29.

But Wednesday will be cooler yet, with a high of just 41 degrees. The frigid low will be 22.

For Thursday, the sun will shine, but the air will be cold, with a high of only 36 degrees.
