Prep basketball action continues Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday as seeds are finalized for the Sam Moir Christmas Classic to be played at Catawba’s Goodman Gym on Dec. 27, 29 and 30.

Tournament seeds are based on pre-Christmas winning percentage.

Ties are broken by (1) head-to-head,  (2) coin flip.

Through Wednesday’s games:

Girls records: East Rowan 7-1, Davie 6-2, South Rowan 6-2, Mooresville 5-2, North Rowan 3-2, Carson 5-5, West Rowan 3-6, Salisbury 2-7

Davie plays Friday against an Australian touring team and plays Saturday at Alleghany. Mooresville plays Thursday against Alexander Central. East Rowan plays Salisbury Friday. South Rowan plays Hickory Ridge on Friday. West Rowan plays at Concord Friday. North Rowan plays Winston-Salem Prep on Monday.

Boys records: North Rowan 4-1, Salisbury 7-2, Mooresville 5-2, West Rowan 5-4, Carson 5-5, East Rowan 3-5, Davie 2-5, South Rowan 2-6

North Rowan plays Greensboro Grimsley Thursday, Crossroads Charter Saturday and Winston-Salem Prep on Monday.
