Rowan weather: Enjoy the beautiful day

Whew, it’s cold out there, just 26 at 8 a.m. Can you believe we’ll reach a high of 60 degrees today? Sunny skies will warm us up quickly.

Tonight, a 20 percent chance of precipitation moves in, and we’ll have a low around 37.

Tuesday we have a 40 percent chance of rain, mainly between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy, with a high of 57. The rain should be gone by Tuesday night, when the low will be around 37 again.

We’re back to sunshine for Wednesday, with another high of 57. We drop down to freezing, 32 degrees, Wednesday night.

It will be a little cooler Thursday, with partly sunny skies and a high near 51; the low will be 32 again.

Friday will be a lot like Thursday, with partly cloudy skies and a high near 51, then a 60 percent chance of rain moves in Friday night, with a low of 36.

Saturday, we have a 70 percent chance of rain — no fun for last minute shoppers. It will be cloudy and cooler, with a high near 46. It might be a good day to stay inside and bake or finish the Christmas cards or wrap presents. The low will be around 34, and we’ll still have a 50 percent chance of rain.

We rebound Sunday, with mostly sunny skies and a high near 48 degrees.
