 Salisbury Woman’s Club luncheon meeting

The Salisbury Woman’s Club met at their clubhouse on Wednesday, Dec. 3, for their luncheon meeting. Hostess Betty Mohs decorated the tables in true holiday style, and all members brought their favorite dish to share, beginning with a ham and ending with a red velvet cheesecake. Members and guests enjoyed a musical program given by Susan Trivette, flutist, pianist, and education director for the Salisbury Symphony. Carolyn Myers won the poinsettia door prize.

Jan Query opened the meeting with devotions. Refreshments and decorations were provided by Chris Weilandt. Royce and Carolyn Thomason brought the meeting to a close.

Officers for 2015 were announced as follows: President, Chris Weilandt; vice president, Jean Kadela; secretary, Millie Fink; corresponding secretary, Rose Salois; treasurer, Judy Coggins; chaplains, Janelle Murray and Jan Query; historian, Ann Rollins; hospitality, Gail Puntch; photographer/driver, Les Puntch.

In November, Kneeling Gardeners completed their annual Note Card project. In December, members participated in ringing bells for the Salvation Army at Sam’s, went caroling at the homes of those confined to their homes, and had a party at Kellswater Bridge Residents’ Club featuring Bryson Gray singing a medley of songs, calling on his grandfather, Earl, for the finale.
