Rowan weather: More warmth before deep freeze

Another chilly start to the day will usher in warm air later on, with sunny skies and a high near 70. Tonight’s low of 44 will actually be the high for Friday.
We might see some patchy fog Wednesday morning, but the return to sunny skies and a high near 69. Wednesday night’s low will be around 43.
There’s just a 20 percent chance of rain Thursday, with mostly cloudy skies and a much cooler high of 52, accompanied by winds from the north northeast. That monster cold front will dip down into the South by Thursday night, with a low of 30.
Dress warmly on Friday, when the high will be just 44 and the low will be a frigid 25 degrees. Make sure your pets are protected from the cold.
Saturday warms up just a little, to 47, with a low of 31.
Sunday brings a 50 percent chance of showers, with cloudy skies and a high near 47. The low will be 37, still with a 50 percent chance of showers.
Monday, the chance of rain is just 30 percent, and the sun will come out, leading to a high of 51.
