Credit union scholarship recipients
Franklin Gover, III of Rowan County and Angela Clifton of Spencer received $300 University of North Carolina School of Government Scholarship awards. They are two of 48 scholarship winners. Both will use the money to attend the course Foundations in Planning and Development Regulations at the School of Government at UNC-Chapel Hill.
Cannon enters Clemson’s nursing school
Jessica Cannon of Mooresville was recognized in Clemson University’s White Coat Ceremony, which commemorates the entrance of first-year students into nursing school.
