Kannapolis school board has light agenda for Monday session

The Kannapolis City Board of Education has a very brief agenda for its October meeting.
The board will recognize students, teachers and volunteers from Shady Brook Elementary School, as well as the Hilbish Ford Teacher of the Month and the district’s principals.
Tim Downing will discuss Kannapolis Middle School’s agriculture program, and the board will consider a resolution in support of North Carolina public schools.
Will Crabtree, director of business operations will go over the district’s monthly report, facility update, budget amendments and a resolution for Rowan County classroom teachers.
The board will meet Monday at 5 p.m. at the district’s administrative office, located at 100 Denver St. in Kannapolis.
