Local business leaders at summit in Washington, D.C.

Several Rowan County business leaders are participating in the North Carolina Business and Economic Development Summit being held in Washington, D.C. today and tomorrow.
The Rowan County Chamber of Commerce and RowanWORKS helped organize the trip.
In addition to the summit, Rowan County business leaders will meet with North Carolina Congressional elected officials and key staffers, a news release said.
Members of the Rowan County delegation are: Tim Norris, Healthcare Management Associates; Pete Teague, Dixon Hughes Goodman; Frank Goodnight, Diversified Graphics; Karla Costantino, Century 21; Karen Alexander, KKA Architecture; Randy Welch, Duke Energy; Denise Hallett, Vulcan Materials Company; Robert Van Geons, RowanWORKS; and Elaine Spalding, Rowan County Chamber of Commerce.
