Alzheimer’s the topic of Lunch-n-Learn

Memory Makers of North Carolina, an Alzheimer’s support group created by Lutheran Services Carolinas, Magnolia Gardens Extended Care Community, Carillon Assisted Living of Salisbury, Home Instead and All About Seniors, is selling tickets for an Alzheimer’s Lunch-n-Learn at High Rock Church, 708 Jake Alexander Blvd. W., on Sept. 10, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
Mary Ann Drummond, an Alzheimer’s disease programming specialist, will be the guest speaker. Drummond will discuss her new book, “Meet Me Where I Am.” General admission tickets are $10; for $25, participants will receive a signed copy of her book as well as sit with her throughout the luncheon.
Lunch will be provided by Magnolia Gardens Extended Care Community. Please contact Wendy Livengood at Carillon Assisted Living at 704-633-4666 for reservations. Tickets are $10. Seating is limited All proceeds from ticket sales will be given to the Alzheimer’s Association of North Carolina.
