Dr. Sheila Brownlow, a professor and chair of psychology at Catawba College, and Sarah C. Robinson, a former student of Brownlow and a 2012 Catawba graduate, have had their paper titled “Determinants of Proenvironmental Attitudes in College Students” accepted for publication in the British Journal of Education, Society, and Behavioral Science.
The paper reports the results of Robinson’s thesis work on how certain environmental attitudes are predicted from demographic and personality variables. Robinson is an environmental programs analyst for SRA International and is currently working on her master’s degree in natural resources at Virginia Tech.
