RCCC Board of Trustees to discuss several topics

The Rowan-Cabarrus Community College Board of Trustees will meet Monday to discuss several proposed recommendations by the personnel, academic and student engagement and the finance and investment committees.
Before the meeting, the board will hold a planning session to discuss the college’s 2015-18 strategic plan.
The Board of Trustees meeting agenda includes: recognition of the 2014-15 Rowan-Cabarrus Student Ambassadors, introduction of several new instructors and the North Carolina Community College System’s approval of the nursing assistant curriculum certificat program application and the advertising and graphic design curriculum program application.
Also on the agenda is information on the Department of Defense Voluntary Education Partnership Memorandum of Understanding and information on the Cabarrus County bond referendum.
The strategic planning session will be held at 3:30 p.m., and the board’s regular meeting is scheduled for Monday at 4 p.m., at the North Campus in the Paradowski Boardroom, 1333 Jake Alexander Blvd S. in Salisbury.
