Caroline Chilton, of China Grove, joined Phi Mu sorority at Troy University during the fall sorority recruitment week at the Troy campus Aug. 5 through 9.
James Madison University welcomes the class of 2018 to campus this month, including Briana Craig of Kannapolis. The incoming freshman class represents individuals who hail from 36 states, the District of Columbia and 35 countries around the world. Craig will major in communications studies.
Sarah Catherine Shirley, of Salisbury, graduated from Radford University at the end of the spring semester. Shirley, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Shirley of Salisbury, earned a bachelor of science degree in design.
