All around the area of Yellowstone National Forest and up into Canada, the day begins as normal. Businesses open and morning shifts begin. Girls on their way to school whisper about their first kiss while boys brag to their friends. All of this is suddenly extinguished in a flash of earth, lava and violence as the caldera that is Yellowstone erupts, killing millions.
As survivors battle the elements and dangers of the sunless version of the world for food and water, they must also fight the monstrosities that have been created by the catastrophic event. All while the volcano holds the world in an embrace of malicious intent.
Bartlett was born in northern Virginia and settled down just outside Charlotte. He is a happily married father of four who enjoys motorcycles, sports and nature. A career dental technician, he has also been a personal trainer and a fugitive recovery agent.
