A daughter, Paige Brooke, was born to Jim and Brooke Smith Marino of Gold Hill on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast. She weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces. She has a brother, Carson, 2, and a sister, Anna, 4. Grandparents are Randall and Ann Smith of Gold Hill and James and Lynne Marino of Cleveland, N.Y. Great-grandparent is Isabelle (RoRo) Rowland of Salisbury.
