After a beautiful holiday weekend, we’re back to Monday, and back to the same forecasts we’ve had for weeks. The next three days are going to be hot like a firecracker, and humid.
Today it will be mostly sunny and near 90, with no mention of rain. Tonight will be around 69 with no breeze. We have another very high UV index of 10, meaning you need to protect yourself and your children, especially between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. It’s also a code yellow or moderate air quality day, with both ozone and pollution.
Tuesday will be pretty much the same, but hotter, with a high of 92. A warm wind will blow in from the southwest at 7-13 mph, with gusts around 18 mph. Expect another code yellow air quality day. Tuesday night’s low will be 70, with the wind continuing.
Here it comes — our usual 30 percent chance of rain arrives on Wednesday afternoon. It will be partly sunny and hot again, and even stickier, with a high near 91 and a west southwest wind around 9 mph. Look for a low around 69 Wednesday night and the 30 percent chance of precipitation.
The temperature will drop a bit for Thursday to 87, but the chance of showers and storms increases to 40 percent. Still, skies will be partly sunny. Thursday night’s low will be 67.
Friday and Friday night, it’s back to a 30 percent chance of showers and storms. During the day it will be partly sunny with a high near 86. Friday night, the low will be around 67.
Saturday won’t be much different. We’ll have the usual 30 percent chance of showers and storms, partly sunny skies and a high near 87. The low will be around 68.
It’s still going to be warm Sunday, with mostly sunny skies and a high near 89.
