SALISBURY — St. John’s Lutheran Church will ask the city for permission to remove the front steps and railings and reconstruct them with a new design.
The church and architect Gray Stout will make the request to the city’s Historic Preservation Commission at 5 p.m. Wednesday in City Council chambers at City Hall, 217 S. Main St.
The church, located at 200 W. Innes St., and Stout also want permission to repair limestone at the front entry doors.
The called meeting is open to the public.
