A mostly cloudy morning may be a clue about what’s to come. Today we have a 40 percent chance of showers, but tomorrow the chance climbs to 50 percent. This morning there are slow moving showers and storms in South Carolina.
The high today will be near 84, with showers and storms possible as early as 11 a.m. Tonight, the 40 percent chance of rain continues, with a low around 69.
The only good news today is that we’ll have code green or good air quality. The prediction for Wednesday and Thursday is code yellow, moderate.
We can expect showers and thunderstorms as early as 9 a.m. Wednesday under mostly cloudy skies and a high near 87, Wednesday night, the chance of showers drops to 40 percent, but rain is possible through the early morning hours of Thursday, with a low around 67.
The only notable change Thursday is we have only a 20 percent chance of precipitation, with mostly sunny skies and a high near 88. Look for a low around 68.
Don’t expect anything different for the weekend, either. Friday will be mostly sunny, high of 89 and with a 30 percent chance of showers and storms. Friday night, the low will be around 68 again, with the same chance of rain.
Saturday’s high will be 87, under partly sunny skies with a 40 percent chance of precipitation; low Saturday, 68, again. We seem to be stuck with 68 every night.
Sunday, the chance of showers and storms is back up to 40 percent, with the same high as Saturday, near 87, and the same low, around 68.
The workweek that includes the Fourth of July doesn’t look much different. Monday features partly sunny skies, a high near 87 and a 30 chance of showers and storms.
