North Hills Christian School graduates 18

North Hill Christian School class of 2014 had commencement services on Friday, May 23, in the Helen-Kelley Smith Gymnasium. The commencement speaker was Dr. Tom Phillips of the Billy Graham Evangelical Association,
Junior marshal was Brianna Grace Caraccio. Eighteen students graduated.
Stephen Adams will join the workforce following graduation. Vicki Kehr is still undecided as to her future plans.
Emily Boggs received a merit-based scholarship at Wofford College, study abroad fellowship at University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and Presidential Scholarship at Salem College. She plans to attend Wofford College and major in chemistry or biology and pursue a degree in the medical field.
Morgan Bowman received the Liberty Champion and Pastor Alumni scholarships at Liberty University. Morgan will attend Liberty and major in ministry and film.
Elisabeth Farmer received the Presidential Scholarship at Catawba College, Rowan County and N.C. Based Scholarship, plans to major in sports medicine and physical therapy. Kelsey Greaves also plans to attend Catawba College; her major is undecided.
Caitlin Harrison received the Duke Energy Scholar’s scholarship and plans to attend University of North Carolina-Charlotte and major in Spanish.
Alex Hoffman plans to continue his employment at Cheerwine. Kristen Trivette plans to continue her employment at Food Lion.
Candace-Craig Lyerly will attend Davidson County Community College and play on their volleyball team. She plans to pursue a career as an ultrasound technician.
Kevin Mitchell has been accepted by Mission to the World to participate in a mission program in Honduras.
Ila Moore, Jordan Moore and Cameron Taylor will attend Rowan-Cabarrus Community College to obtain their liberal arts degrees.
Devon Plaster plans to join the U.S. Navy.
Dakota Rios has been accepted into the Artisans Blacksmith Association of North America and plans to pursue a career in blacksmithing and welding.
Jordan Smith received presidential scholarships at Catawba College and Pfeiffer University. He plans to attend University of North Carolina-Wilmington and major in accounting.
Natalie Whicker received the Presidential Fellow Scholarship at High Point University, Merit Scholarship at Meredith College, Sandra Graham Shelton Interior Design Scholarship at Meredith College and the George and Ada Fleming Scholarship. She will attend High Point University to major in interior design.
