Nazareth Children’s Home gears up for annual funfest

The Nazareth Children’s Home FunFest is an annual tradition in Rowan County.
This year’s event is Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.
For the early birds, breakfast will be available starting at 7 a.m. and the car show and craft fair gear up at 8 a.m.
Below is the complete schedule for the day. The FunFest is held at 855 Crescent Road, Rockwell. Their website is www.nazarethfunfest.org/

7 a.m.:Breakfast foods for sale
8 a.m.: Car Show and Craft Fair
9:30 a.m.: Welcome and Prayer – Vernon Walters, Jr. Pres./CEO
9:35 a.m.: Rori Godsey– Star Spangled Banner
10 a.m.: Children’s games in Lyerly Activity Center, including inflatables, face painting, balloons
10 a.m.: Rowan Aero Modelers Air Show (at the YMCA soccer fields)
10 a.m.: Montgomery & Co.
11 a.m.: Alumni registration at Gazebo
11:15 a.m.: Music by Carson Hill
Noon: Center Stage Dance
Noon: Lyerly Family Reunion in Goodson Shelter
Noon: Uncle George – Magician at Lyerly Activity Building
1 p.m.: Legends Review Band
4 p.m.: Raffle for
