Mooresville man faces drug charges

A Mooresville man faces drug charges stemming from an arrest in Rowan County.
Donald Alan Minter, 31, is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and felony possession or distribution of methamphetamine precursor.
Minter was arrested Friday by Kannapolis police in connection with a March 5 incident. He posted $15,000 bond and was released from the Rowan County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in court May 20 in Cabarrus County.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office has charged Sherman Agee, 43, of Farley Court, with breaking into a building in China Grove.
Agee remained in the Rowan County Detention Center on $1,000 bond and is charged with felony breaking or entering and felony larceny after breaking or entering. Authorities say he took tools and lawn equipment worth $370 on Friday, the day he was arrested.
Agee is scheduled to appear in court today.
A Kannapolis man has been charged with four drug-related crimes after police say he had 21 grams of marijuana in his possession on March 21.
Erica Shae Teate, 24, of Kannapolis, is charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver, felony maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, misdemeanor simple possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Teate was arrested Saturday and posted $2,000 bond and was released from the Rowan County Detention Center. He is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
