SALISBURY — U.S. Rep. Virginia Foxx, R-N.C., will be guest speaker at the May 12 luncheon of the Military Officers Association of America, Central Carolina Chapter.
The meeting will start at noon at Rufty-Holmes Senior Center, 1120 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave.
Foxx serves in the 5th District, which includes part of Rowan County. A strong supporter of veterans and the active-duty military, Foxx will speak on bills now before Congress that are of interest to the military.
