That’s just not fair: Woman uses fake bills to buy Girl Scout cookies

SURF CITY (AP) — A North Carolina woman has been charged with trying to use counterfeit $20 bills to buy Girl Scout cookies.
The Daily News of Jacksonville reports (http://bit.ly/1kmNMOZ ) that 35-year-old Wendy Wilson of Surf City was charged by Surf City Police on Monday with passing three fake $20 bills to buy the cookies.
Warrants also charge her with two drug possession counts, one count of trying to obtain property by false pretenses and a count of possession of a firearm by a felon.
It was not immediately clear if Wilson had an attorney.
