History Club meeting Tuesday

The Rowan History Club is meeting Tuesday, March 11 at 7 p.m. in the Messinger Room (accessible by elevator) at Rowan Museum, located at 202 N. Main St., Salisbury.
The program will be presented by Jeff Bockert on the “War of 1812: Andrew Jackson and Horse Shoe Bend.” Jeff is with the North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources in Raleigh.
A roundtable format will allow for a 30 to 45 minute presentation, followed by a question and answer period.
Rowan History Club is open to all persons interested in the history of Rowan County with meetings the second Tuesday of each month, September-June. There are no dues or admission fees, and refreshments are served.
Guests to the program should enter through the rear entrance.
