The Cleveland Lions Club Spring Breakfast is this Saturday, March 8, 7-10 a.m., in the Lions’ Den on Cemetery Street. Signs will point the way in, beginning at the fire station on Highway 70/Statesville Boulevard. Breakfast will include scrambled eggs, country ham, sausage, bacon, grits, homemade biscuits, coffee, tea and juice.
Donations collected help the visually and hearing impaired through medical research; providing white canes, eye and hearing exams; providing glasses and hearing aids; and providing other services. Brooms will also be available for sale.
Remember to bring old glasses and hearing aids to be recycled. If you would like to bring a non-perishable donation for Rowan Helping Ministries West, the Lions will deliver the donations. For more information about the breakfast or the Lions Club, contact Liz Steele at 704-278-2252.
