Rowan weather: Baby, it’s cold outside

Our winter weather advisory will expire at 9 a.m., but morning temperatures are frigid at 18 degrees. The wind is blowing out of the north, so it feels like 11 degrees.
But the sun is up and it should warm up to 42, with winds from the northeast at 6-11 mph. Tonight should be cloudy and not as cold, with a low around 29.
We warm up again Wednesday, with a partly sunny day and a high near 52. But Wednesday night brings a 30 percent chance of rain, mostly in the wee hours. It should be mostly cloudy with a low of 33.
And, just in case you thought spring was coming, Thursday brings a chance of rain, snow and sleet before noon, then mostly rain. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent. Rain will continue overnight, with a low around 33.
There’s still a slight chance or rain Friday morning, but a high near 55.
This might be even harder to believe: We should see partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Saturday brings with it another taste of spring, with a high near 66. Sunday’s and Monday’s highs are expected to be near 64.
