The Lambda Epsilon Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. will present its annual youth symposium – “Partners for Progress, Working Together to Build Bridges for Youth” — March 15 at the J.F. Hurley Family YMCA, 828 Jake Alexander Blvd.
The event will focus on the importance of partnerships in the community coming together to support youth and will feature speakers and workshops on STEM, self esteem, violence, water safety and drug awareness.
Boys and girls ages 12-17 are invited to attend. RSVP by Saturday to info@salisburysgrho.com for an individual youth or groups.
Chapters nationwide will host the symposiums on Saturdays in March as a unified effort to support youth.
