Durham won the 106-pound state 3A wrestling championship Saturday in Greensboro. Durham defeated Weddington’s Parker Walton 3-0 in the final round to become South’s first state titlist since 1990. It was the second victory over Walton last week.
Durham, a junior, finished the season 31-0.
